Challenge

To create an experience that raised awareness of Garden Gourmet products, changed perceptions about cooking and preparing vegan food and encouraged trial at home. 

Activation

Introductory AR experience activated via a QR code located on the ASU plus a takeaway leaflet featuring a tasty recipe, encouraging customers to find the ingredients in store.

QR code on the leaflet revealed a virtual AR cook-a-long experience with @Ella_vegan all in the comfort of the customer’s own home. 

Customers were encouraged to share on social media using the hashtag #MeatlessMondays.

Insight

Our insight showed that flexitarians would eat more plant-based food but found it challenging to prepare.

Working with an established Influencer we created several cook-a-long videos to showcase how easy these plant-based recipes could be.

Augmented Reality (AR) via QR codes has become increasingly accessible, and we chose this emerging technology to disrupt and engage the consumer in a unique in-store and at-home activation.
